Decision Coach ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

• User Content: Text you submit for analysis and your follow-up chat messages are transmitted to our servers and to our AI provider to generate insights: Anthropic (Claude) in app versions released from October 2026, and OpenAI in earlier versions, as stated in the consent screen of the version you use. If you use voice input, the recording is sent to OpenAI only to convert it into text. Neither provider uses this content to train AI models. Your analyses and chats are stored on our servers with your anonymous device ID so we can provide follow-up chat, usage limits and (from app version 1.2.0) restore your journal after a reinstall; you can ask us to delete them at any time.
• Anonymous Device ID: A randomly generated identifier stored in your device's keychain is used for usage limits, your subscription and restoring your journal. From app version 1.2.0, if you use iCloud Keychain, Apple syncs it to your other devices with the same Apple ID. It is not linked to your name, email or any account.
• Purchase Information: Subscription and purchase data is managed by RevenueCat and Apple. We do not store payment details.
• Device Preferences: App settings (theme, notifications) are stored locally on your device.

• Apple – App distribution and payments (apple.com/legal/privacy)

Data Retention

User-submitted content processed for analysis is not retained beyond the duration of a single session. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Children's Privacy

Decision Coach is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
